The
Icom 4KL is the best solid state 1000 watt plus HF amplifier
I have owned (I own a PW-1 but it is HF+VHF). You can run this
amp normal SSB rag chew at close to 1500 watts. It is a conservative
design and will tune better than 3:1 all day long. This is nor
wimp amplifier. Instant QSY - what a pleasure.
