The
IC-756 was the first HF radio delivered with a cool blue spectrum
display, and ^M coverage and did not cost your first born to
own. This was the first step to DSP and away from the large
IC-781 style radio. The IC-781 could still hear better and CW
performance is always outstanding. Watch out for the older IC-756
units with the streak screens.
