Some still contend that the 765 for the dollar is the best radio ever made. They are a big radio that will not move around on the desk. They have a very hot receiver and every know works as advertised. I have owned several and enjoyed them all. Below is a description about modifications.

I have added the Inrad Filters and the Inrad roofing filter to this radio. I also made a mod that used the 250Hz. switch to switch in a narrow Inrad SSB filter. After replacing the PLL caps and fine tuning the radio it could be turmed a HOT ROD RADIO (HRR). I can testify after coupling this radio with the SGC ADSP speaker the performance was as good or better than the current products. Next - how can I get a display on it?
